What We Do
For Deep in the Heart to be successful, we need volunteers to plan and host the event, event volunteers for the day of the event, sponsors, and race participants! We value all gifts - time and treasure!
Activities include:
- Strategically planning the event purpose and activities to maximize positive impact for Empower 7
- Managing the event to include budget, marketing, communications, fundraising, and event activities
- Serving as liaison with professional services, facilities, vendors, sponsors
- Recruiting volunteers to serve in key committee roles and day of the event duties
- Securing sponsorships and auction items
- Decorating the venue
- Developing the event program
- Recommending guest speakers/entertainers/vendors for the event
